How they work
The idea is the cards are displayed in a window or stuck on the front door to let neighbours know that they need a little help. The cards are writable and have space for the occupant to add their phone number so they can get assistance without face to face contact.
The reverse of the cards list local websites / telephone numbers that might be useful to the elderly / vulnerable with space to add additional numbers such as that of their doctors surgery and closest neighbours.
Who should order the cards
Chances are the people who need the cards most are already in isolation, at the very least we don’t suggest they make a trip out to collect them. We are reaching out to family members, neighbours, charities and community groups to order the cards and distribute them accordingly – this is also a good chance to explain to the recipient how to use the card / help them fill in any additional numbers.
If you think you need more than 50 cards or would like to help distribute them through your organisation / business, please contact us.
